Time really flies. Another 4 months literally flew pass and my 2011 October batch completed their 1-year diploma at the school and officially graduated on 28 September 2012. Even though academically, this class may not have that many super stars compared to their seniors but they are ALL bright sparks. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM! I don't care what others might say, but this class to me, thumbs up. So students of 2011DID10, if you guys are reading this, I really really love you all. I am not sure what the reason is but there is this something about your class, it strikes me, very heartwarming, gives me truly the, I want to take care of you feeling. I want to see you guys all successfully employed, working in a job that makes you happy, makes good money and I want to see you all excel.
I really really love this class. Really! Even though, the times throughout this year has all its ups and down, I truly really love them. And I miss them terribly. We parted on Friday. We gave the students a little farewell party with sparkling juice, chips, cookies, chocolates. I hope the students appreciate our efforts. I want the best for them. I see them leave the school, packing their bags and lap tops for the last time, I teared. I want to spend more time with them. I wished (for the first time) that the diploma is 2 years instead of 1 and we can have more time together. Knowing that I will be seeing almost all of them on Monday, I held on to the notion that at least another 8 hours will be spent with these jovial cheerful class.
On Monday, after conducting the WDA assessment for my children, I asked if they want to have a session of KTV with me. They were okay and I was to ask the rest of the girls if they want to come along but since it was kinda last minute, all my colleagues already made plans to see their friend/boyfriend/family for the night. So I am left with them. I was really looking forward to spend time with them. The students who came to the KTV was Valerie, Kian Beng, Phua Sze Jin, John Liew, Tan Yong Bin, Lee Yong Yi and Dominic Foong.
My gosh! My students can really sing! They were brilliant with the microphone and all the Chinese music! My Yong Yi can really sing. Valerie and I were really mesmerised by his voice! And the songs he chose, all the heart melting type some more! Wah man! After singing "Love Me, Don't Leave" with him, my heart like, wahhh, so into the emotions intended for the song. Beng can really sing too! He was able to hit all of Jay Chou's notes and sing perfectly Jay Chou's classic songs. Yong Bin, so cute la. He sang "Roof Top" with me. So sweet and funny. Valerie too! She can sing those Japanese songs. Oh and what's that fella's name, Xiao Jing Teng, all his songs and she really sings them well. I sang some Wu Yue Tian's songs with her too. So heartwarming, so much love. I miss my kids. Sze Jin!! Shouting into the mike most of the time! HAHA! He really try la this one. :) John Liew and Dominic Foong, English song kings. They choose those SUPER OLD 80s classics that most of us don't know the tune too. HAHA! John paid for the KTV session and Dom gave me a ride home. Really thankful guys! Have so much fun, so much entertainment, love and laughter and really, need not pay a single cent. REALLY. I am so happy, so blessed. Thinking back, I miss my kids. I love them so much. All the times that we spent having fun. Now I only have photos and memories to remember them by. I feel kinda depress now man. Shit, I feel like I kanna ditch like that, a part of me like disappeared with them when they graduated. :(
Babies, I love you guys, all of you. Beng, Val, Ben, Jin, Chiki, Kang Yong, Zen Sen, Jian Wei, Jiawei, Yong Yong, Yong Bin Bin, Shehzad, Andrea, Ted, John, Dom, Alex, William, Marcus, I want the best for you guys. WORK HARD!! Always remember and update me on your progress in life and we must always keep in touch! :)
