time really flies. especially time that is relaxing. so sad. i'm feeling the Monday blues already!! WOOOO :((
this weekend i did not get to spend much time with jon. he booked out on friday evening and he has to book back in on Sunday 830am. we met at novena square and since we were early, we had yami yogurt and a ham and cheese crepe. since we kinda had a minor argument on thursday, during our meet up, he was exceptionally nice. :) i supposed it's all good.
we went to my dad's shop to have dinner together with the family. it's my mum's birthday is on Saturday so we went to like have dinner and spend some family time together. my youngest brother cooked some really delicious soft shell crab and baked chicken for all of us. it was yummy. :) then we went to a newly opened creamery to have ice cream nearby. i wasn't feeling quite well because i think i was really dead beat with stress and whatnots for the whole day (or week rather).
i dun think i was the only one who had a bad week. jon too. in camp he told me he had a lot of paper work to handle and this and that heavy things to carry. he doesn't tell me much, and i will not disclose much as u know, camp stuff, classified la. therefore, i think this week, we were all too stressed up and too high strung. that's why after dinner and after taking a cab home, all i wanted to do was to take a long hot steaming bath and lie down in bed. jon too. we put a movie on and bearly 15 mins in, we both fell asleep.
jon's brother, jeremy, and his sister-in-law, joyce, were on their way back from Switzerland. their plane touched down at singapore changi airport at 630am? or sthg like that? for me i continued sleeping (too tired!) but jon woke and went with his parents to the airport. he misses his brother a lot. so sweet. :) when they came back from breakfast, i was introduced to jeremy. this will be the first time i've met him. i've seen joyce before the last time she was back for a break.
at night, his cousins and aunties and nieces and nephews held a BBQ party at their place at pasir panjang area. the food was delicious! i think i ate too much! too much beef, thai-style tung hoon, fish, sausages, salads, chicken wings, ribs... it was sooo good. :) i am thankful that i am received by his family. i know it is not easy to like, be receptive to everyone. so i am really happy and glad that his family members are very nice people and we get along pretty okay. i try la. :) anyway, when we returned home, we were still tired out from everything and had an early night. i was a lil sad cos he has to book in at 830am the next morning. :( but ok ah. i can get used to it. he can still call me at least.
before i end off my entry, i just wanna note that, i really wanna thank God for bringing me thru for my career and my work. i was really unable to focus and i am so glad for this rest, this clarity. i wanna thank God for wisdom and all the knowledge He has given to me to make this easier. i am so thankful that i am well received by my bosses and my colleagues and He has really given me so much. i know i am not a (book) smart person. therefore i am very happy that He helped me gain and learn so much. dear God, i also wanna thank you for jon. i don't why and how, you have made everything so smooth and so right that it feels so complete. God, please be with us, and guide us along the way in our lives. may we walk closer to you and get to know U better day after day. Jesus name, Amen. :)
